What our ambassadors do
As a student ambassador, you are a member of our League of Students, representing StudyPortals at your university. You do this by performing several activities, explaining your international experiences, or sharing tips and tricks to other students who are interested in studying abroad. This is a volunteer programme and members are rewarded in the form of points. For every activity you perform, you will receive a certain number of points. If you collect enough points, you can join the awesome StudyPortals Ambassador road trip this summer! The activities you can perform include:
Vlog about your life as a student
Help another student over Skype
Promote the League of Students online
Interview your friends about their experiences
Give a tour of your university or city
Write cool articles about your personal experiences
What do more points get you?
With every activity you perform, you receive points. Once you have earned enough points, you will receive a colourful laurel wreath, together with a nice reward!
What is the thought behind all of this?
At StudyPortals, we want to be the doorway to your study abroad adventure. We would like to recognise the students who already made this step and who inspire others to do the same. The ambassadors that join the League and perform activities will be rewarded with a famous symbol for victory and achievement: the laurel wreath. For every laurel given, ambassadors receive a special gift to acknowledge their achievements. Once you reach the orange laurel (2000+ points), you are then eligible to join the StudyPortals Road Trip!
Grey Laurel: 300 points
Blue Laurel: 1000 points
Orange Laurel: 2000+ points
What our ambassadors say
”Making the decision to study abroad was easy; though, trying to figure everything out on my own, was not. By being an Ambassador for StudyPortals, I want to empower other students to reach their goals when it comes to studying abroad.”Brittany Marsden
”StudyPortals came as a blessing to me. The chance to positively influence prospective students was an absolute thrill. I get to talk people out of their insecurities, while sharing my experience and obstacles. The fact that you are even thinking of coming out of your shell is already a big step! In the ambassador programme there are students like me who are committed to showing you that it is not that scary after all.
You only have to win: win new opportunities, new friends, and new perspectives; and why not a new you?”Augustina Ntow Brisaa
