Country of origin: Zimbabwe
Study course: Master of Science in Climate, Land use and ecosystem services
Why did you decide to study abroad?
I decided to pursue my academic interests abroad in order to experience studying in another country, with the plus of getting exposure to a new culture and widening my network at an international level.
What made you decide on this university?
The first thing to captivate me was the Master’s title and course content. The Master’s – Climate, Land Use and Ecosystem Services – at AgroParisTech was the best option to quench my desire of acquiring a multi-disciplinary background. In addition, the ‘grande ecole’ is amongst the best agro-science academic institutions in the world, with a high academic reputation and quality research. At the same time, they offer the lowest tuition of anywhere in the world. For self-paying students like me, what else can you ask for?
How is your experience of studying abroad?
It has been the best part of my education life, and has ensured an enriching experience. There are challenges, of course, but they are far outweighed. In short, it has been a phenomenal and exciting experience for me, in one of the most beautiful cities on the planet.
Why do you think others should not miss out on studying at your university
With many partners, public and private research centers, as well as industrial surroundings, this is the ideal place of study. You will surely have contact with various academics and researchers, from many sectors, right in your class room.
