NUI Galway, Ireland
Country of origin: India
Study course: PhD in Medicine (Pathology)
Why did you decide to study abroad?
My first motivation to study abroad was the fact that there is more to the world of education than in just my own country. Even though I studied in a very reputable university, I knew that the opportunities I would get once I started studying abroad would be much more than what I had at home.
What made you decide on this university?
I decided on NUIG because it is one of the most reputable universities in Ireland and Europe and the course that I selected was unique to it. Not only is NUIG quickly climbing the ladder in university ranking, it also has unparalleled student support. And I can say this with conviction, as I have friends who are also studying abroad; but none have received as much help and guidance as I have from NUIG.
How is your experience of studying abroad?
My experience so far in studying abroad has been amazing. I have enjoyed every day so far. I can honestly say that I have developed as a person and have definitely broadened my horizon.
Why do you think others should not miss out on studying at your university
If you are planning to study abroad, do look into NUIG, as it has some amazing perks. You’ll be on one of the most beautiful campuses in Europe and you’ll be under the tutelage of an amazing and knowledgeable group of faculty. The support staff and the university engagement officers are there to help you in any way they can; and, finally, you’ll join an elite league of alumni who are all doing very well in their lives.
