Why did you decide to study abroad?
Well, the last couple of years have been a long bumpy ride for me. However, the university has encouraged me to continue to learn more about engineering throughout the world, bringing me into things that most students have not learned. Now I have a lot to find out. I also want to get Master’s degree abroad because I think that it would help me get great access to engineering jobs after I finish my university education.

What made you decide on this university?
Having been equipped with strong theoretical and versatile research knowledge in the field of Geology as well as being introduced to the processes of knowledge discovery and research skills during my undergraduate studies, I wished to pursue graduate studies in my current university. The reasons why I decided to study there:

  1. I can receive a top-class degree recognized around the world;
  2. I can find a diverse range of study opportunities;
  3. There are affordable living expenses;
  4. I can live in a safe country and a sound institution;
  5. I can learn a language which can open many doors;
  6. I will broaden my horizons and give me an opportunity to gain world class education; and
  7. I will become an excellent world citizen.

How is your experience of studying abroad?
Now I am confident enough, having the necessary drive, versatile research abilities, intellectual competence and requisite skills to contribute massively to power problem of my country, Ghana.

Why do you think others should not miss out on studying at your university
I consider some branches of knowledge to be best studied abroad. For total immersion in their languages and culture, the only place to study is your country. Besides, I have a personal interest in studying as much as possible about Russia, since it is my favorite country throughout the whole world. Although I was born in Ghana; therefore, it is my long-term dream to visit this fascinating country.
And now I am very proud of being here and having an opportunity to get to know more about the country, its culture and society. For these reasons, there is no other country in the world I would like to visit and study in more than your country.
