Why did you decide to study abroad?
I chose to study in Bergen because of its wealth of education opportunities available, combined with its vibrant student life. Bergen has an excellent local culture and music scene, with lots of exciting events taking place throughout the year – many of them student-run.

What made you decide on this university?
NHH is an institution of academic excellence, as its alumni include Nobel laureates in economics, as well as some of the most prominent business leaders and politicians in Norway and Scandinavia. There are conferences and company presentations held frequently that easily enable you to network with businesses. 95% would recommend NHH to a friend; and 76% of students get a job before graduation.

How is your experience of studying abroad?
Bergen is a fantastic city to study in. I have, for instance, joined a student choir as well as a student subcommittee at NHH. This committee arranges panel discussions, conferences, and debates on economic, political and social issues. The city is also surrounded by mountains that are brilliant for hiking, with skiing trails available in the winter. I’ve made friends from very diverse backgrounds by getting to know the international community at the school – something that has made me passionate about internationalization, culture and languages.

Why do you think others should not miss out on studying at your university
NHH offers a very active student community, a wealth of opportunities after graduation and top-quality education. without charging any tuition fees. It is situated in Bergen, a beautiful city in Western Norway, surrounded by easily accessible nature, and close to the famous fjords. While studying in Bergen, get out in the countryside and enjoy some of them!
