Why did you decide to study abroad?
When I was young I wanted to be a Water Scientist. What motivated me the most was the struggle of water problems I grow up under. South Africa is a semi-arid country facing water challenges, after my undergraduate degree I then decided to further my studies abroad. With the amount of knowledge and skills I will obtain, I will be able to help combat the problems my country is facing. Europe has best Universities that have good track record of success and are well recognised around the world, that alone motivated me to study abroad. I also chose to study abroad because of the cultural diversity. I wanted to learn more about other peoples cultures and believes. I wanted to meet students from all over the world, and make good and permanent companionship. Leaving your comfort zone has never been easy as a result I took this journey for my own personal growth and to broaden my self with new wisdom that comes with experience of international education.
