Why did you decide to study abroad?
I decided to study abroad because I want to experience different cultures from all the world, get more knowledge about them, make new friends and have a good collaboration with them. I also believe that studying abroad really makes you experience life to the fullest.

What made you decide on this university?
University of Wageningen is known as one of the best universities in agriculture and food science, which means that I will be taught by top researchers and experts. It also offers a professional network and, thus, will be my collaboration partner in the future. This will bring me to the greatness of Indonesian food safety development. Pursuing a master degree in Wageningen University will not only increase my knowledge, but will also open my vision about developing food safety in a global perspective.

How is your experience of studying abroad?
It is amazing because I have to learn about a new culture, new study system, new way of learning and of course new personalities. The big challenge for me is the language barrier. My Bachelors degree was taught in Indonesian, so it took me quite some time to get used to the different accents and scientific language in this master program. I am happy for the understanding that others give me for not having perfect English, as it is not my mother tongue. Many international students experiencing this strain, so we need to practice every day and improve.

Why do you think others should not miss out on studying at your university
